My name is Megen and I started All Occasions Jewelry March of 2014. I thought I would take a moment to share why I decided to sign up to be a Paparazzi Accessories Independent Representative and my motivation to make my business with them as successful as possible.
In October 2013, my husband and I decided that we wanted a change in our lives. We are adventure seekers and enjoy exploring our surroundings. We were driving around northeast Ohio enjoying a covered bridge tour that we had heard about in Ashtabula County. It was so much fun driving around with the loves of my life: my husband of 6 years and our two fur-babies. This is where our dream was born. We decided that day that we wanted to travel all over the United States and Canada full time in an RV. To read more about this drastic change in our lives, you can read this post from my blog.
By January, our family learned about our dream to hit the road and we went to the Cleveland RV Show to determine what would best suit our needs. The next day, we found the RV of our dreams. January 17th, the same day we signed papers to purchase the RV, my husband was let go from his job. My heart sank. We chose an 18 month loan so that the RV was paid off quickly and now, we were out half of our income and a very large RV payment due the next month! Fortunately, Todd (my husband) was able to find another job closer to home that same week and he started his first day February 6th, on my 33rd birthday. Phew. Problem averted.
The very next week, February 14th (Valentine’s Day), I was called into the conference room of my employer I have been with for over 11 years (1/3 of my life!) to learn that my hours (and therefore pay) were being cut 25%. The truth of the matter is that I have not been happy with my job for many, many years. I stayed with my employer as a responsibility to my family.
Shortly after, I found out about Paparazzi Accessories by doing a search on Craigslist for something completely unrelated! I signed up under someone who was fairly new to the company and finding great success in selling jewelry with FaceBook parties! I started my research on Paparazzi and it really seemed to be a fit for me. I started selling Paparazzi Accessories because I saw it as a perfect fit to help make back my 25% income loss and to be able to make an income while traveling all over the United States when we are ready to RV full time in the next 12-18 months.
